Privacy Policy

This site is operated by KUBERSTAR LLC(“KUBERSTAR”, “we”, “us”), a product and engineering studio. For any privacy question or request, contact us at hello@kuberstar.com. We are the data controller for the information described here.

This policy covers kuberstar.com and the project-brief form at /start. Our iOS app Pixrim has its own policy at /pixrim/privacy, and some products hosted on their own domains may publish their own notices.

We only collect what we need to respond to you and to keep the site working.

• Details you give us in the brief. When you complete the Start a Project form, we collect your name and email, an optional company name, an optional preferred reply channel and handle (for example a Telegram username or phone number), and the project details you choose to share - project type, the services you need, a budget range, a timeline, and your written brief.
• Technical and usage data. Like most websites, our server processes your IP address and basic request data to deliver the site, prevent abuse, and apply rate limits. We also run privacy-friendly analytics (see below).

We do not ask for and do not want special-category data (such as health, financial, or government-ID information). Please keep it out of your brief.

• To read your brief, reply to you, and scope a possible engagement.
• To keep the site secure - bot defense, abuse prevention, and rate limiting.
• To understand, in aggregate, how the site is used so we can improve it.

Our legal bases (where the GDPR applies) are your consent and steps taken at your request before any contract, plus our legitimate interest in securing the site and understanding aggregate usage. We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising or to build profiles about you.

We use a self-hosted, privacy-friendly analytics tool (Plausible) that does not use cookies and does not track you across other sites. It records aggregate, non-identifying measurements such as page views, referrer, and how far down a page people scroll. Because of this, the site shows no cookie banner - we set no tracking or advertising cookies.

We do not sell your data. We rely on a small number of service providers strictly to run the site and deliver your message:

• Telegram - your submitted brief is delivered to our team through a private Telegram channel so we see it quickly. See Telegram’s privacy policy.
• Cloudflare Turnstile - a privacy-preserving check that confirms you are human before the form is sent. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

We keep your brief only as long as needed to respond and, if we go on to work together, for the duration of that engagement and a reasonable period afterward. Aggregate analytics contain no personal data and may be kept indefinitely. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, export, or object to or restrict our use of your personal information, and to withdraw consent. If you are in California, you have the right to know what we collect and to request deletion - and we confirm we do not sell or share your personal information.

To exercise any of these, email hello@kuberstar.com and we will respond within the time the applicable law requires. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

We operate globally, and our service providers may process data in countries other than yours. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

The site is intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be reflected here.
